most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

Default ugly ''duckling''... well, moorhen actually!!

i spotted five tiny moorhen chicks on the canal, near to where i live. i saw them yesterday whilst walking my dog. they were grouped together in the reeds, the parent in the middle and the five chicks stood around her. it was a perfect photo opportunity...... you know the ones you get when you haven't got your camera with you!!!. anyway i went back today with my camera.
they're cute, in an ugly sort of way, are'nt they!!

The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

Yes very cute andy and I'm sure their parents love them, lovely photos. Glad they were still there when you went back so you could get your pics.

Aah, bless. Mind you, looking at these (and the goslings I was looking at the other day), I can really see how they came from dinosaurs
