    Captures today Feb 17th 2008 First I have seen this year
    I think it rather early for The Red Admiral . They usually appear in August up until November but I guess the warm weather down here has brought some out early.

    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    It was quite frosty when I left the house this morning at 9'30 -ish and really hot by mid day.
