Unfortunately I hadn't kept up fast enough with the bird seed feeders but this Robin was determined not to go away empty-beaked. After all the exercise he needed a nice sit down

I did feel a little mean just sitting there watching him, but I did go and put some more accessible stuff out afterwards for both him and the rarely spotted Dunnock who is there.. just always under cover
