This is the first of these I have seen, today lucky to have had my camera with me...there were 3 all told.
I think it maybe an Eurasian Wigeon (juvenile) but not sure.
Think that's a juvenile Goosander Arthur, not that great on ducks, but certainly not a Wigeon, bill is too short. Possibly a juvenile Merganser also.
Checked my books Rolf, and yes I think you are correct about them being Juvinile Goosanders. Going out later with tripod and 500mm Lens to see if I can get better pictures of them. They were on the Danube, which is about 200m away.
I think you are correct with the Goosander Rolf, checked my books and pictures seem to be females, tried to see them today, but they didn't show.

Sad to say went down to the river yesterday and found one of them dead near the bank, the others seem to have left.
That's a shame Arthur, perhaps a fox had visited.
