Well done, always nice to come away with some good results. Once the weather starts to improve. I'll start getting out eary mornings, as then I can still fit in the best part of a day's work afterwards.

Ther were more great spotted woodpeckers there this morning than you could point your lens at.

One landed on a tree stump 15 feet away from me , I stepped back to take some photo`s , and ended up on my a*se in the stream !! Luckily I managed to hold on to my camera.

I have only come home to get changed and am going back again.

I was there for 7.00 am this morning, and for a nice change there weren`t loads of dogs running wild.

When I work out how to upload photo`s on here, I will put some on for people to have a look at.

Alternativly , go the Flickr , type in Fleet Pond Nature Reserve in search groups, my user name is hurricaneharold.

http://www.thamesvalleybirds.co.uk/m...phs-forum.html should give you all the information you need to upload photos.

If you can take a photo of the lak itself, I'll add it to your first post.

Nice one, hard to capture Treecreepers, let alone with their lunch in beak.

Thankyou for the comments ,I watched the tree creepers for over 2 weeks while they were bringing food back to the nest for there young.

Here`s another shot I managed to get a while ago, I found these Great spotted woodpeckers in the nest only 2 days before they fledged.

I love this one as it's a little different sort of pose from what you normally see of Kingfishers.
