Here are some pictures from Christmas of Darcy, my Sister's Beauceron in France. She loves the snow.

Lovable, playful - but very strong and heavy-looking, and I think he could push you down in the snow!

Lovely shots of the snow there too - especially the way the sun catches the snow crystals at times!

That's no way to speak about a lady Catherine, she'd get very upset, but she is on the muscular side.

Oooh, didn't know she was a lady dog - thought 'he' was called after Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice.

Don't tell me she was called after Darcey Bussell!

Darcy is a female name, Beaucerons have to be called by a name beginning with a letter according to their year of birth, that year was D. I did suggest Doggy, but Anna wasn't too keen, I usually call her Deputy, as she follows me around.

Olympus Evolt E520, and borrowed lenses and flash. Fuji Finepix S7000 for Macro A chair :)

It's a great set of shots. I love the 'snakeskin' effect on the snow in the first shot (along with the 'mad dog' rushing at you, it's all-in-all a scary shot!), and the 4th shot is great with her standing there staring at you "..so. are you going to actually come and play, or what?!".
The last shot is award-winning arty
