    Default Exmouth's stormy seafront

The tide here would you believe is turning and still charging up the seawall and over into the street. Just a few of the photos I captured today March 12 2008

Thanks Rolf. The sea was very rough
I was well back but I think the people by the waves may have got a bit wet

exellent shots chocky. we got away very lightly up here int' north. after seeing the shots of your house, it would have to be bad to flood yours.
in your second montage.. the things people will do, rather than pay at the car wash!!!

The second set of photos were taken by a friend . I wouldn't tread so bravely I uploaded them to show you the dreaful 2004.
as for my house it is well hight before you open the front door. we have 6 steps at the gate and a gradual slope up to the door. Many years ago th sea used to flap up against our wall. The original sea wall was there and two doors but on The Park hotel still has the original sea wall all round it.
The whole of Exmouth was 4 feet under water in 1960
