    This one virtually tapped me on the shoulder just as I neared home, magnificent dragonfly.

    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    what crisp images rolf, as you say, a truly magnificent dragonfly. the detail is stunning. the body looks as though it is illuminated from within....wow!!!

    Some of your pics have made me twitch and itch tonight, Rolf! You HAVE found some creepy French companions!

    However, these two pics of a very BEAUTIFUL insect are quite superb. The definition, lighting and colour are just amazing!
