    Default Spider with deformed leg

    This is actually from 2008, but I spotted it whilst searching my archives. If you look at the back leg on the right, it's both smaller and differently coloured.... it doesn't seem to stop the web-building though :-) I don't think that I posted this before - apologies if I did :-)

    I didn't even think of that. Looking it up it seems that younger ones can regrow legs, and as they moult the leg gets bigger.
