    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    Default wasp spider

    this picture was taken whilst on holiday in fuerteventura.
    the spider had taken up residence outside our apartment, much to my wifes annoyance (she's petrified of spiders). i watched everyday as it made silk food parcels out of it's prey. i am pretty sure that it is a wasp spider. it had a stripey back. wasp spiders can be found in the south of britain and like everything else seem to be creeping slowly northwards.
