    Ponies wear these belt-like collars (or collar-like belts!) in the New Forest too, but they are reflective - so drivers can see them.

    I gues Busby's has his number on it, so he can be identified?

    the male donkeys have red and the females have yellow.
    They also play a very big part in the lives of handicap children


    P.S. If you see a Donkey wearing two collars it indicates different feeding etc for instance a Donkey with a yellow collar and a blue collar is a female on medication
    A Donkey with his her colour and a ginger colour is on a special diet and that sort of thing . the large collars are so they can be Spotted easily in a field
