    I was testing the 300mm f2.8 with X2 converter today. It's too heavy for hand holding!!

    Thanks for the compliments.
    I've been down to Barnes WWT again all day today and going out with a friend tomorrow, will try to edit todays pics tonight and post some over the weekend. I must say that I am impressed with the new lens.
    Took Rolf's advice today and actually used the tripod for most of the day so hopefully there should be some "good" shots.
    Incidently the new hide at Lea Farm is now available, I recieved the combination for the lock today.
