    aren't the wings lovely against the black. I had a hoverfly in my kitchen today. All I could hear was this big buzzing which made it sound like it was an ENORMOUS fly, but I just couldn't see it.
    Eventually I spotted a little hoverfly. Goodness knows how he could make so much noise!
