    Default I D needed for fledgling Crow/raven

I think this is probably a crow but am not sure so please if you can positively I D the bird.
It fell out of a nest and the park gardenser ask me what to do. I told him to leave it as it's mother would be near by. When Iwent there half an hour later the Mother was about 20 feet away . One reallyshould always leave fledglings alone because the mother is always near by.

Can't positively ID the bird Chocky, but it looks to me like a Crow, the beak shape is wrong for anything else.

    Oh right.
I was going to put one in the Wellankamp gallery
Shall I put it in the gallery as a Crow then?

No. I wouldn't think so. Hope not anyhow. Men are neerr wrong.

It is a Carrion Crow. It. The mother had a ovely shiny caot. In the RSPB book it says that the Carion has a vey glossy body and the Raven has all black plumage.
