The little yellow duckling are getting bigger. There are two left out of the four .Sad but that is nature.
Aren't they so cute? Very nice picture, but you are right Chocky, that 's nature. I remember watching a nature profgramme years ago ago a bit cat family (tiger I think, and one of the kitties got a cut on her leg infected. It slowly died. It must have bee so hard for the camera men as they could easily have done something to help it, but that's nature - red in tooth and claw. That's why I don't get too upset when the cat catches something - I try and remember that if I wasn't feeding her (and she was originally abandoned so fed herself for a while), she would be catching so many more.
Yes. I try not to get upset too. Those camera men won't interfear with nature and quite right too. I did once and it didn't pay off. One of my cats kittens was too week to feed. I found it frozen an barekly alive. I stimulated it and warmed it up. so I fed here with a pipette for two days until she was strong enogh to feed. We kept her and she had kittens one of witch was Dillicus. but she was so nervious and (we recon brain damaged from starving at birth) if any one entered the room she woud shoot up staires leaving me to clean up after her and in the end she had to be put down. I have let nature take it's cause since
