Default Lapwing at Winnersh, Lavell's Lake

The Lapwing were collecting on the nearby scrape bank, so had a fairly good view. Still one of my favourite birds, beautiful subtle colours and amazing flight skills.

More great shots - and a good way to spend a sunny day!

(Did you use your new hide - or a permanent one at Winnersh?)

Thanks Beryl and Catherine, they were taken from the permanent hide Catherine, the lake is well screened from everywhere apart from the hide.
