    Thought this was a Nuthatch call until I saw the blackbird.

    I keep forgetting to record. I think because there are quite a few sining at the same time where I go.

    This was a strange one though, I think it was a young bird, perhaps it was just lonely.

    Awwww. Yes it could well have been a youngster wondering where his mother was I suppose
    I haven't heard a blackbird lately. Well I have seen quite a few females but I think it is the male that sings so loudly but I don't know for sure

    I heard this whistle a couple of times today - both were male and one had a big mouthful of worms so I assume he was collecting for others rather than just himself.
