    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Beautiful shots - give a very good idea of the head shape etc. Nicely done.

    Thankyou, Martin Mere is the only place I have ever seen them . The last two times I have visited they were on the hanging feeder just outside the door leading out into the reserve, I was a bit disappointed when they weren't there this time. However, part of the reason cold be that these shots were taken around the nest boxes, we could see one youngster with it's head stuck out chirping away but my shot of it failed miserably
