    Somewhat unusual I think a lizard eating nectar - photographed up on the north western coast of Madeira 10/4/2017

    Could it have been eating insects in the flowe?

    Looks a plump and well-fed lizard, so whatever it's eating is going down well!

    I suppose it could have been - we saw loads of lizards but this was the only one I saw sniffing the flowers
