    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    This little Wren came visiting yesterday no sooner did I spot him and then he vanished

    Thankyou, rolf I only work in feet and inches and I would say he was about 14feet away. A pair nested in a Yucca tree earlier in the summer (errrr what summer) and the Yucca tree is just behind this perch

    Ah yes, must set up a hide one day in the copse opposite, certainly missing out on some close encounters.

    rolf I would be lost without my hide, the birds are used to me, don't mind me snapping away, my avatar wren was taken from my hide.........it is my second home
