    Captured this Grebe today on it's tod on Horseshoe lake Yateley Hants.
    I don't know if there as a partner I didn't see it.

    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    Default g.c. grebe pic

    nice image chocky, the ripples on the water set the picture off. you can almost see them gently lapping.

    The ripples are there all the time. I'm not sure if they are caused by the bird movement the lakes are free ruining so I expect that may cause them
