    Default Dunnock - Prunella modularis

It's getting very noisy here - as well as a few Blackbirds, a Song Thrush and a Goldfinch I also have a singing Dunnock. I know it might not sound like much but normally all I ever hear are blackbirds, Robins and squabbling Sparrows

Dunnocks have quite a melodious song. But I guess if they are all sining together , it must be noisy. I usually hear them one after another

On the other side of the house this black bird was singing. He must have taken lessons from the Song Thrush as he has a particularly beautiful and complex song. It's easy to know when he is singing - apart from the stunning song, you can really see from the second shot - he has a bald patch on his forehead that makes the shape of his head look quite weird

Yes. The black bird is very similar . He dosn't whistle and trill though but I love listening to him.
He may have been in a fight. It's quite frighteningwhen two blackbirds fight
