Yay!! I'm all excited as it WAS a Redwing in my tree. I don't get out much so I'm stuck with what few birds come to my suburban garden.... so it's fantastic to get a new arrival It's a little further than my lens likes... but beggars can't be choosers

Mind you, the Blackbird wasn't 100% happy and once the Redwing started to pick about under the bushes the Blackbird chased him off . Then a Sparrow started to pick about and HE got chased off

Well done Louise, they are such an attractive bird as well, looks like this weather has provided an unexpected bonus.

It certainly has - it also is nice to see that the effort of putting food out really is worth it as it could be a real lifeline to some. I just wish that there weren't so many Sparrows as it hides other visitors.

Nice capture Louise.
They are very pretty little birds and the Black birds don't seam to like them at all
