    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Can somebody kindly ID what I think may be damsel flies. They are very small , I had about three of them flying around the garden yesterday afternoon

    Could well be right, although the eyes don't match any pictures I have in my book of the large red, I've just looked at some internet images and they are similar, I do find it difficult to tell between some of the species.
