Further to my recent endeavours to attract a woodmouse to an upturned beer-bottle top filled with peanut butter in the garden (see thread below) - I thought I'd show you a latest picture - CLOSE UP!

The camera lens end was EXACTLY 8" away from the subject.
All thanks to the clip-on Raynos DCR150 lens (£25 from USA) a bit of training of the mouse (about a month), a little gentle persuasion to get it in the right spot (to the left of the bottle top) and a LOT of patience!

Am amazing portrait of the Woodmouse. Very few would have such a privilege to see let alone photograph this delightful creature.

Excellent capture and such detail, I have never seen such a glossy coat, I assume you gave the woodmouse crunchy variety
