as pete mentioned, there were 24 avocets present at the costal hides, part of the leighton moss reserve. surely a sign of climate change. was'nt too long ago that one would have been a rareity up as far north. this, by the way, is a very poor shot!!
Nice one Andrew. I see these at Topsham and Bowling Green Marsh . All part of the Exe nature reserve cut that never venture down to Exmouth end
