Robin - Erithacus rubecula
I was out mid-town at lunchtime when across a VERY busy and wide road I heard this chappy. Like a lot of birds he had turned his volume up to counteract the traffic noise. The bush was at the side of a carpark and he was almost deafening (although I was also only 6-10 feet away so that didn't help).
I don't know what he had been eating, but everytime he opened his mouth there was something stretching between the top and bottom, as you can see in this photo. He flitted about , but still had this stuff sticking to his beak... he needs a napkin :-)
