Not cropped at all Catherine, that's straight out of the camera, but shrunk a little.
That's a pity... When you said 'framed', I wondered if you meant in the 'cropping machine'!
I often crop a pic, then regret it, so have to use 'Go Back' to retrieve the original and try something else.
It's still a great photo though!
I always keep the original untouched image, and save the modified ones in a monthly file, it means more disk space used, but disk storage is becoming quite cheap now.
Yes I usually keep the originals on discs and have a file I call ' Uploads' and same as Rolf save them monthly to another disc. Have about 400 discs

I've given up on disks, Beryl, as we don't have the space to keep them.My filing system and my patience don't really help.
I store copies on an external hard drive now, but need to replace that with a bigger one soon.....

Have you checked that there isn't another pic of that Coot with more reflection on your originals, Rolf? Worth another look!
