    Default Closeup detail of a buzzards wings

    I went to the Exeter Grand canal today and walked for miles. (it seamed)
    My legs and arms once again lacerated by nettle and long grass etc even another sting on the neck
    (some poor creature loves me )
    And then I saw a buzzard so close it nearly knocked me over. The last photo it was so close (about 10feet away) it is blurred so I'm not uploading it.
    How ever It is really nice to see detail in the top of the wings and a front view on coming.

    Yes it was quite daunting. The last photo as I said I thought he was going to knock me over and it is a bit blurred so I haven't uploaded it

    How the heck did you do that Chocky.Everytime I think I'm getting somewhere,another brill picture appears and I'm left thinking "why do they keep shifting the goalposts" really really good set of pics

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Wow plenty of detail in these shots Chocky, you really deserve to get shots like this with the amount of time you spend outdoors, it certainly paid off, I'm dead jealous and I might not speak to you for.....................1 whole minute
