    Taken in Iceland this summer with a samsung point and shoot digital camera.

    Came out well Ross, beautiful birds, also appear in some coastal regions of the UK, mainly Scotland and Ireland.

    I was very pleased with the pic - it came out very well indeed. Probably the best of the Icelandic bird pics I took - although this one wasnt on maximum zoom unlike most of the others. (It was only 50 yards off shore)

    We had stopped for a break on a long drive up into the north western fjords and I wandered straight into the middle of a tern breeding colony trying to take this pic. Those Arctics are vicious little sods!

    Crumbs, bet that was noisy as well, as Terns are not the quietest of birds. :
