    Default Reed Warbler at Lavell's lake

    Spent an hour pottering around at Lavell's this afternoon, got mostly Damselflies, but heard this chap singing and laid an ambush.

    Yes they do look similar, although the beaks are much bigger, an easy confusion though.

    I particularly like the 1st and 4th pics - splendid definition of the Whitethroat with subtle yet complementary background.
