    Default Shoveler - Anas clypeata

    This is the Shoveler duck and it's mate on the right. So called because he has a beak like a shovel and shovels the river and pond beds for it's food
    On the left are a pare of teal ducks having a knap. The second photo is a male Teal

    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28
