Was just relaxing taking photos of the kingfisher and Redshanks among other thing and was about to go when these two new birds tuned up. Never having seen these I stayed on to take photos and make a video.
Here are two of the best I could do because as I said every thing on the estuary is usually too far out.
These birds are on the Amber status and not the one on theleft has been counted and ringed

I have a lovely video of them I will upload later. I'm not sure if this is a pair or Mother and youngster They were so amicable, didn't squabbles at all

Excellent Beryl. They both appear to be adults and the one ringed I will send in to BTO but can we agree the rings are on the right leg and appear to be white over red. I will keep in touch on this Beryl it will be interesting to get the history from the bird.

If you can confirm my reading it would help, also where seen.

Thank you Pete. We have Twitchers and digi-scoper from all over the country here in the winter recording migrant birds. I chat to them some times
Yes ring is on the right leg of the left bird and is White over red I cannot see a ring on the right hand bird.I will be uploading a video which you can look at later and can pause it where ever you want to.
This was the only pair and they stayed together all the time
