    Default Hozelock, the Dragonfly

Do you remember Evinrude the Dragonfly, from the film 'The Rescuers' - and how he/she got his/her name?

Well, today we have Hozelock the Dragonfly! (Trumpets, please!)

Hozelock got stuck inside the conservatory, but it wasn't fun for a young Dragonfly there since all the water was outside.

So the Cochranes rescued little Hozelock carefully with the pond net - and looking around from the pondside, he fluttered his wings, stretched out a smile, and buzzed off happily into the distance!

I wondered if that was an ovipositor there, Rolf, but am not really up with the reproductive bits of Dragonflies - so I left it open

After all if it were a male, he would be offended to be labelled as a female!

    Thanks, Louise!

I'll tell Glen you said that. (He was wielding the camera as I was manoeuvering the pond net!)
