    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Default My first Redwing

    Well this is the first time I have ever seen a Redwing. I was quite a way from it but hey I don't mind. It is welcome back anytime and hopefully I will get a better shot of it ...................here's hoping

    That's a lovely shot Babs, lucky for everyone the Redwings are making themselves known this season, I hadn't seen one until a couple of weeks ago either.

    Great catch. I may even have seen a few near my house - there's a spot where crab apples have fallen onto the snow, and I saw them fly off as I passed, but it was too dark by then to see properly.... I'm hoping they will appear tomorrow.
