    Interesting one, not seen one of these before, in fact not seen any of the Grouse family, think this is a Red Grouse, Lagopus lagopus.

    Can't find any other lookalikes beside the Lesser Black-backed Gull, Larus fuscus and the Southern hemisphere Kelp Gull Larus dominicanus, which is unlikely.

    Been reading about this bird and mostly they say it is hard to see the difference between the Larus Fuscus and this one.

    To make a long story short I will spill the beans (and also present a new pic)
