Oh, thank you, Laura! We girls must stick together on this site!

Actually, having had Dutch friends for nearly 50 years, I have got to know quite a lot of their language. (Well, you have to know what they're saying about you, don't you?)

I remember camping in Menton many years ago. A Swedish family had their tent next to us and I was aware they had no bread as what they said sounded very similar to the Dutch version. So we gave them some of ours and got their respect in return. (You see, few Brits bother to TRY to understand the lesser known Euro languages, so miss out when trying to work out written clues - or try to overhear conversations!)

Yes, i am sure Billy was on the right trace

I just wanted him to give me the right answer, glad You did Rolf.

Billy is good in this game, and as we have no rules (like present the Latin name) I can only press on the Right Name.

Still it is just a game.

and the answer is : Större strandpipare Common Ringed Plover Charadrius hiaticula

Your name is common and ours is Bigger Plover, meaning that we(for sure) have a smaller or normal... one. I see if I can find one.

Anyway, well done Billy, think You are on the move in this game !

It is really no problems Billy.

I always try to have the Latin, this means it will be very clear.
