Well the first one I think is a juvenile Cuckoo - Cuculus canorus, the second looks like a Bunting, I'll take a guess at female Black-headed Bunting - Emberiza melanocephala.

Well, I'm not a 'Pro' - in any meaning of the term!!!

So I'm going for Aquatic Warbler - Acrocephalus paludicola

(Or is the reed a 'red herring'?....)

With that reddy bit under the chin (and the pale legs rather than the Thrushes' dark ones), how about a Red Throated Pipit - Anthus cervinus?

Well, this is my last try...

'Next tree'... is that a cryptic clue....?

Oh, well, I can't think of what else it might be, so I'll just have to go with Meadow Pipit now - Anthus pratensis

(You see, I don't get out much, Crister! )

A clue it was but not that cryptic. Find a tree with no pipits in that´s all.

So, are you going by the ro (with the kind of umlaut above the 'o') as being the start of the Swedish word for 'red', Rolf? Now that's cheating - but smart!

But if that's the case, it's a very manky-looking Redwing surely - IF that's really what it is!

And I'm not a sore loser....

Well, I have to admitt that I was barking under the wrong tree

Made a mistake and blame it on the stressed week I just had.
2 sickcalls meant that I had to work for 2 during this week. (can´t be age, can it?)

So, let us go back a few posts:

    "Catherine
I'm still thinking 'Pipit'... so I'll try the Rock Pipit next... Anthus petrosus "

Forget what I said after this post
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
We start all over again (sorry)
Well it was close Catherine but not close enough

BTW here is Rolfs birdie just so You can compare, they are almost the same.

As for the new birdie - a face that only a mother could love, especially those 2 spike on his head :rolling

But - it has a lot of yellow and what looks to be quite a solid-looking beak... so I'd start with suggesting a Greenfinch (Carduelis chloris).
