OK, only other bird I can think of with the white tail and dark tip is the Rough-legged Buzzard - Buteo lagopus.

It does look like a Buzzard. I though of the Pale phase but the photo doesn't give much away
sea eagle??
I think you are right there Rolf with the Rough Legged Buzzard
Yes, it is a Fjällvråk Rough-legged Buzzard Buteo lagopus
It is a bird usually seen up in the mountains in the Norther parts of Sweden.
Well done Rolf
Here is a Friday special
Looks to be a Water Pipit - Anthus spinoletta.
I agree with that. It's the only Pipit with a stripe over the eye
Even I have to agree
Vattenpiplärka Water Pipit Anthus spinoletta
While we wait for the Spring, let us have a look at this bird
Golden eye - Bucephala clangula
Looks like one, but the colour seems to go much farther down the neck than anything I've seen... not to say that it's not a variant, just not seen a picture of it. Mind you, I can't think of anything else - I do wish birds would all look exactly the same, it makes ID a real beggar to do
Yes I thought that too
Well I reckon it's a Scaup, Aythya marila.
Yes could be but I couldn't see the white ring on it's beak
Yes You ae probably right Rolf. Only the female has a white ringed face
Yes I think so too
Bergand Greater Scaup Aythya marila
Good finding again.
More water loving birds
Female Smew - Mergus albellus
What a wonderful name, a Smew! I'm slowing trying o go through the birds and learn what they are, but not come across this one yet - photo or this name
Yep, always liked the name.

A local expert.

Looks like a male Ferruginous duck - Aythya nyroca.
I have to agree with Rolf here . Lovely coloured ducks are.t they?
Vitögd dykand Ferruginous Duck Aythya nyroca
In Swedish whiteeyed duck
Let us see if You know this bird.....

Nice finding Billy
Ringtrast Ring Ouzel Turdus torquatus

Dvärgbeckasin Jack Snipe Lymnocryptes minimus

So, a Monday Bird
is it a bittern??
I'll agree with that Billy well done
Bittern - Botaurus stellaris
Actually we are supposed to put the Latin name as well Billy.
If you haven't it in a book type the name into the Google and you will get the Latin name beside it in brackets
