No, not cartoon or marionette, it is a Police series.
Sound a bit like Hawaiian-ish by the music.
We've had Magnum PI.
I don't think I know this one. More clues please

The only TV series I can think of that is British and also American is
Blue Murder
Didn't say the series was British and American made.
I think that the other Blue Murder is Canadian actually . Very confusing.
I'll have to let DD have a go at this one
The only one I can think of is Dempsey and Makepeace but cant seem to match the title and tune together
Dempsey and Makepeace it is.
They will quite often change the theme for subsequent series.
I never watched that. Now the family is gone I tend to watch the progs I like.and cops and Robbers isn't really my sscene unless I like the heroes
New Theme Tune
Mystery TV Theme 133

Mystery TV Theme Tune 134
Think we've had that. Isn't it Ski Sunday?
LOL, possibly, thought I'd checked.
OK, this may be more difficult.
Mystery TV Theme Tune 135
Yes. It is. Nice tune though
Blue healers?
Drat, forgot you were into Antipodean dramas.
Lol. I like some of them I only watched that because JJ found it
OK, I think this one will be easy as well.
Mystery TV Theme Tune 136
Is it meant to be so short? It only has two notes
Try it again, something went wrong.
Still only two notes , this first is lingering.
Have you doctored it?
try again, but refresh the browser, your are replaying from your cache.
Hmm. I recognize it but have to have a think as to which series it comes from
Sounds a bit like a cat walk type prog'
No, not really that type.
Lose Women?
Nope, not Loose Women.
Hmm. Great prog . some times really funny , never listen to the tune though.
Is it a cooking program?
No, it's a children's programme.
Art attack?
Definitely on the right track.
Tony Hart ?
Morph
Very warm, in fact boiling hot.
Take Hart?
JJ loved that program
He likes Salvador Dali now.
No, similar but I believe a little earlier.
