Well strangely enough, I don't use the big hammer inside, I have a little one, my mini marteau.(bought it in France.

Not sure, it looks quite old and most of my tools are not more than 10 years old.

None of mine have a mechanism like that, they are either LED head band lamps with push button switch, or hand lamp with rotary switch.
Looks like it's seen some use though.
