It was his headdress that gave him away

Well it's a Hawk of some sort, possibly a Gosshawk? Accipiter gentilis
Think you are spot on there Rolf
That was good Rolf
Indeed it was a Duvhök Northern Goshawk Accipiter gentilis
OKI here is an easy one for You all !
Crumbs, not that easy Cris, but I reckon it's a juvenile Bullfinch - Pyrrhula pyrrhula

Domherre Eurasian Bullfinch Pyrrhula pyrrhula
This next one could be a thriller
Only a feather but from what bird ??
This feather been discussed as there are two birds that have a very look-a-like
apperance so I will accept any of those birds.
How big is this feather Cris? Looks like it's from a Raptor of some sort by the colouring and pattern.
Hoopoe - Upupa epops ?
Good question Rolf
It is rather big, and it is from a hunting bird
I can picture that feather (and the rest of them) sitting in a tree, well disguised, and wait for a pray.
So it's not a Hoopoe then?

Buzzard - Buteo buteo

Very dark eye would make it either a Kestrel or a Merlin.
One potato, two potato, three potato, four. . . . . Kestrel Female.
