Found this Vane today at the other end of Exmouth. I went fora walk after leaving the health centre and walked about 6 miles .
I think this must be a club of toxophily.
Probably not Beryl, a lot of them have arrows on.
That's a nice on. Mine was on a sort of large shed in the classy side of town. I just thought it looked a bit Robin Hood - ish

Found this one this afternoon.
Suddenly the post office had a vane. I have never see nit before. Such are my powers of observation
The wind it blew but in vain
For the top had gone from the vane
It has lost all direction
And in need of correction
It is driving me clearly insane

The best shot would have been standing off to the right about 30 yards from where that was taken from - unfortunaty Id have needed to be levitating over the edge of the cliff

I hade to use my phone as I was not with camera, so it isn't very good . I was o a little church a little hidden so only captured the top
There seems to be quite a few very similar ones down your way, they must have used a single vane supplier, which I guess would make a lot of sense.
Yes and they all have different numbers . I can't see the number on that one. They all seam vary old though.
I think they may have the number of the address

Here are three weather vanes from my travels roday, the first being Swallowfield Village Hall, very appropriate I thought, the second is Beech Hill Church and the third is a house opposite the church.
