well it wasn't the Clangers.( I love the Clangers, I have one) it wasn't Mr spoon. it wasn't Bag pus ( I have all the episodes to that)
I think they all had presenters and were later.

There were a couple of them on ITV and the original producers went on to bigger and better things.

It's a little early for me so I have no idea - the only other puppet name I can think of is Twizzle.

Twizzle it was, originally made by Gerry anderson.
I never watched Twizzel. I have heard of it. I think the first Gerry Anderson I watched was Super Cars.

Actually, all I reall know of Twizzle is the name (with a vague picture in my head), and since the only other name I could remember was 'Torchy', and that definitely didn't fit with your clue is was a pure guess!!

The clue was stretch, this was what made Twizzle special, he could Twizzle (stretch) his arms and legs.
