I'm out of this one. I really can't recall the song
OK, it was a comedy and had a female star.
Well I don't think it was Ugly Betty. Ashley watched nearly every episode that so I had too . I thought it was good. I think I would recall the signature. But then my memory is so short lived.
I'll have to have a good think.
It is late seventies/early eighties Chocky, as per my previous clue.
A comedy with a lady star in the 70s/80s Was that the clue?
Lol. That really narrows it down.
It actually does, as there weren't many.
Right I'll try and hot up a bit.
I am trying honestly.
Does the song relate to the show. She sounds ancient or she feels it and she thinks she's left on the shelf. I can't make out much of the rest apart from she's in agony (or sounds like it)
It might well do, hadn't actually listened to the lyrics until now.
You don't want to she sound very sad.
I would have been living in Scotland and we had different comedies there that weren't shown in England Like Maggie. Bet you haven't seen that? some what similar to Biker Grove. But Maggie wasn't 69 and in agony. Lol
(BTW Off the track I know but if your watching Coast they are on the way down towards Exmouth in a mo')
Well Nothing is coming to mind. I'm going to need more clues. I just may not have seen this show.
I can't give you any more clues than are in the Lyrics Chocky.
yes but I'm not 69 (yet) and I'm not feeling left on the shelf and I'm not in agony I can't identify with it and I have never heard it
Is it Agony's Aunt?
No, it was called Agony and Starred Maureen Lipman.
I thought I had put Agony . Maybe I decided not to because it was too obvious.
She' very good Maureen Lipman. I have all the BT adverts some where on a VHS.
I never watched the program and I have never heard the music/song.
Sorry about that.
Try another please.
Now that's more me. nice and happy
I think I know this but will have to think
I think this is also sung in a sort of chorus in the serires as well isn't it?
But not with words

Don't think so.
Oh well I have heard it independently to the show then
That is going to make it confusing
I wonder ould it be The Preston Front?
with Colin Buchanan although I have a feeling that the signature there was a recitation rather than a tune

right will take this song to the estuary and see if I can put it to a TV program
Nope. It's time for a clue please?
OK, it is a series rather than a serial, British made and British acted.
Robson Green and is it Stephen Tomkinson ?
now what was it called.......Grafters?
No, older than that, but was comedy.
In don' know how old it was
hmmmmmmmmmmm
It ran from early 60s to mid seventies and was the launch pad for many tv series and stars.
Golly. Ena sharple days. We really are going back here
Potty Time?
Michael Bentine or was that earlier?
Not sure, but I don't think it was the launch pad for many TV series and stars.
Yes it was I think Bentine would have been 50s because he was a goon
I'm off to the estuary and will take the theme with me . It is well and truly stuck in my head now. Lol I can't get rid of it.
Catch you later.
Was it Robins Nest
It's very familiar, but I can't place it. But I can say that it's not Robins' nest - I say that it's not 'Robins' Nest' as I saw an e[isode of that within the last year. Like Chocky, it's going to be stuck with me
Yes. It is stuck in the groove of the melodious percentage of my brain
At least it is a nice happy tune.
Help help. Neighbors has just been announced ahhhhhh . Phew I just managed to change the Chanel in time.
This was a very long running, though not continuous series and had many many actors, spawning several very very successful series.
Back to the drawing board guys
I don't think I'll get this. The tune is familiar . I was living in Holland late 60s early 70s
I'm going to need another clue. please
It wasn't serious
