Nope I reckon it's a Grouse, perhaps a Hazel Grouse - Bonasa bonasia.

I think you could be right on this one Rolf which I gave up on. I suppose a 'grouse' could take to the tree's but seems a little out of context to me, but as I say......I think you may be right.

I think it's a Lapland Bunting Calcarius lapponicus (used to be called Fringilla lapponica), different patterning on head, probably a Female.
