Keld Header Waterfall

Keld waterfalls are only a short distance from the source of the River Swale,This is the fastest flowing river in England.Because it is prone to flash flooding, many have lost thier lives as it rises remarkably fast after heavy rainfall in the upper reaches of Swaledale. After passing through the ancient town of Richmond (we have the real one up here.....oops)it travels accross country to link up with the River Ure, which in turn becomes the Ouse, emptying into the sea at the Humber estuary.

The colour of the water in the picture is caused by iron particles. (and not by me using the wrong colour profile )

I don't think you are hopeless at anything Chocky.Let us see at least one more landscape from you. The feathered friends live in the landscape also, they can't use cameras yet but gve 'em time.........Just follow the instructions hee hee

I already have and apart from the horizon needing a little straightening, there is nothing wrong with them.I wasn't knocking you,there is no way I would do that but you were knocking yourself (needlessly)

That's lovely, Digidark. I haven't had much chance to take landscapes, but with the closeup of insects all you have to do is go up close and hold still... my sort of expertise

I don't move very much or fast at the best of times.It's spotting the insects that causes me problems but will keep trying
