Just a couple of nice shots taken this week from my kitchen. It just goes to show you don't have to go far to capture the beauty of nature.

I agree, many of mine are taken from my upstairs window overlooking a small garden. Nice photos.

I agree - Most of my stuff is taken at home, and I don't have a big garden. I don't take many birds, but that's because I I don't have the right lenses to get them, not that they aren't there. Having said that, I haven't seen any sparrows for weeks and weeks, and I normally have a group of a minimum of 12, sometimes 20, but I really haven't seen any here, just one about 20 yards down the road. I do believe that trichomoniasis infections have doubled this year due to the weather, so I hope that's not the reason as that means that my roof would reinfect any newcomers.. and it wouldn't be easy to clean out the eaves.

I don't have a garden unless at my son's. They both have nice gardens but I do agree.
