    Default Flower or Weed

Does anyone know if the pic is a flower or a weed. The reason I ask is that flower regognition is a problem for me,veg yep, grow them along with tomatoes and strawberrys and get a decent crop.Toots asked me to put this specimen into the greenhouse( it was growing in one of her tubs, but not planted by her.) The little blue bits in the pic are slug pellets, however if she is winding me up,they could well turn into shotgun pellets.

A weed is a flower that grows in the wrong place.
Dig it up and have a look at it's roots. If it is one long root it is a weed.

But Chocky doea that mean that Carrots are weeds?

I don't recognise it, but that flower looks more like to belongs to a garden plant rather than a weed., though as Chocky says, it's only usefulness that marks it as one or the other.

It is a cultivated flower, but my oracle has no idea what it is I'm afraid.

    A carrot is a vegetable.
So doesn't come under weed and flower
    But much more useful.
