    He is maybe practising for the bird Olympics!

    If you turn the pic sideways, he looks like a normal Great Tit standing on a log. He must use a lot of muscle power to grip the tree and stay in that position!

    You wouldn't catch me trying that!

    Like I said. I can't figure out why they land on this tree sideways. It's the only tree and sometimes I have to be so quick.

    I some times watch this tree for ages as the birds fly to and fro from it and nearly always land sideways
